you know, there actually exist people who can just be so inconsiderate. they just can't be bothered with the feelings of other people. they are selfish and only take themselves into consideration, as if they've conquered the world and the world is at their disposal. so what if you've got brains and are sponsored to come here? so what if you've got a bigger afro? *giggles* does that give you the right be given everything you ask for? no okay! go back to your homeland. you don't belong here. that was crude. but hell! i don't care.
*as i'm writing this, silly jincheng is dancing along to glenn miller's in the mood. haha. quite entertaining actually. that is sajc's mass dance song. rock step kick kick kick*

band concert - definitely a great thing to attend. it's just extremely cultured. and hc's beautiful, grand auditorium truly made me believe that i was at the victoria theatre, listening to some musicals. how enjoyable! apart from the entertaining ensemble by the percussion players, the band played music from the lord of the rings. ah, reminisce! and of course, they showed my lovely elven prince, legolas greenleaf!!! i think that was the best piece they played. i love it truly. and also, they played the orientation and school song. cheena was the only word on my mind. nonetheless, i heard hwachongians in the audience singing along, which made me feel that they are just such a loyal bunch who are so proud of their school. nice one there! oh, and there was this ex-ac boy who plays the french horn (was it? all i know was that he sat right in the middle, at the back row. petrina, if u know who that is, lemme know ok? and sorry for not saying hi during the interval.). he's kinda cute. haha. probably it's the 'i love ac boys' side of me at work again. haha. actually, i wouldn't mind going for it again if there's a chance. i'm on my way to becoming a cultured individual. bless me. =)

got this from the singapore junior college forum. it's their review on teachers in sajc:
Interesting trivia: All the Chemistry teachers are female while all the Physics teachers are male. And PE teachers are macho and tanned. Checkout the rugby coach. Not only is his girlfriend a knockout, she's also a teacher in the college.
The school coach, Leonard Ong, is a national rugby player. The disciplinary teachers are unreasonable. "No gel or facial hair is allowed" (I'm sure they don't mean gel on the facial hair). Spiky hair is also banned even though 30% of the male student population have it.The disciplinary masters are Mr Marimuthu and Mr Sillas. Mr Marimuthu has hair in his ears and speaks with a thick Indian accent. Mr Sillas looks like a scheming old man with a big nose and a cunning smile.
The Principal is very intimidating and very biased. She hates those who are blacklisted but is very good to those who have good results. She's also very particular about punctuality. She is one queen bitch that very few students like. Appeal students beware, she is known to blast you for your lousy results.

hahaha. my leonard ong's my pe teacher alright! jealous? here's a picture of him:

mr ong is the third one from your right. cute eh? although i know this one isn't clear.

a *bleeping* principal, who is *bleepingly* named chye tin, of *bleeping* sajc came up with a *bleeping* time table for my class of poor-things.

some *bleeping* person defunct his/her site. his/her site was has got some elements of my interest. and i wanted something from that site. now all's gone. all's gone down the *bleeping *drain.

i truly agree with petrina that blogging really does help one release frustrations. i'm much more calm now. i think the blog has some special powers to initiate the operation of the cardiac inhibitory center. i'm impressed! that's what you get for studying too much biology. i hate science!

today, after the whole block test, joanna, guo yan, jasmine and i boarded a bus and headed down to the southern island of singapore - sentosa. boring you might say, but when people know how to have fun, it's fun! we walked the merlion trail, took the monorail, visited fort siloso and images of singapore, sat at burger king...oh wait, one more thing, i took a picture with a gorgeous caucasian at bk. he put his hand round my shoulders! he did! and he smiled at me before he left the restaurant! he did! i was on cloud nine when he gave me his single-dimple smile. i was melting bcos of that, and plus the scorching hot sun.

after the heart-pounding photo taking, we strolled along siloso beach and sat there till the sun set. now, that's a great way to spend post-exam periods, other than jostling around bustling orchard road. but, one thing, my legs sure ache after walking for so many hours. ouch! and, i totally felt like a tourist. and of course, fort siloso gave me a sense of nostalgia, not that i am that old, but that made scenes of my pass history lessons in secondary school sweep into my mind. i love history!
ps: do visit the link 'with a click of the camera' for more pictures. enjoy!

the taiwanese presidential election is the hot topic on the dinner table tonight. everyone's talking about it! darn, i still can't remember the names of the candidates. oh well, chinese names never get easy on me. i always seem to have a tough time trying to remember chinese names. anyway, according to my dad, he doesn't want the current president to win because it will cause an uproar in mainland china. my personal opinion? none. it doesn't concern me. no wait a minute, will it be helpful for my gp paper in block test one? doubt so. h.e.c.k!
anyone owns the december 2003 issue of cleo magazine? i'm desperate for it! in there, under a section about how girls can turn guys on, there's this interviewee (alex), who is obviously mixed (since i'm the one writing this!), who said that he loves girls who run their hands through his hair. running my hands through his hair? anytime hottie! i'm sweating profusely as a result of the heat emitted by him. how pleasurable! (gosh, does this sound sick? it does to me. but double h.e.c.k!)
oh yea, i received comments that my previous entry made a nerd out of me. what rubbish! more like i'm out almost every afternoon. haha. am i feeling guilty? at least my mum hopes i am. and silly victor (my tutor) talked me into studying for biology. so, being my usual diligent self, i read the notes. i'm just so proud of myself. hail michelle...

not exactly as what my title says, it wasn't a sleep-over. the gang of five (excluding clarissa again), their mummies, my other 2 siblings and i booked a deluxe suite in orchid country club. this 'chalet' lasted from tuesday to this morning. it was great fun and like any typical girls' sleep-over party, we had pillow fights, gossiping sessions and games!! of course, bowling included!!! oh how nice it was to be able to chat and play mahjong with the gals till the wee hours of the morning. not to mention that sumptuous buffet breakfast! it all happened so quickly that it seemed like it was only a few hours ago that we just checked into the resort. oh yea, we got to see a whole group of acjc bowlers and soccer team members. the soccer boys were 'entertaining' us with their 'morning exercise' by the pool during our breakfast at the poolside restaurant. sigh, some of those ac boys were just absolutely hot! i really regret choosing sajc. how much hot people i missed out on! argh! one more thing, i saw david lee (the one from 4 truth 2002) at the bowling alley. i think he noticed me. haha. alright, pictures will be posted next time. in the mean time, saints, happy mugging, and others, have fun with the post-exam activities.

today is the day my lovey dovey sean biggerstaff turns 21. boy, how gorgeous he is! anyway, for those ignorant people, sean plays the gryffindor qudditch captain-cum-keeper, oliver wood, in the harry potter movies. he's the most gorgeous one in the movie anyway, and the eye-candy who pulls me into the cinema. without him, i guess oliver wood would never be the same again. -sigh dreamily-
unfortunately, he isn't among the cast of the next installment of harry potter - the prisoner of azkaban. but nevertheless, i still love him to bits! he's the reason why scottish guys are just so adorable. with the kilt or the traditional western suit, he's still the man, still as sexy. for more information about him, visit his official website.

regardless whether he's oliver wood or sean biggerstaff, he rocks my world!!!!

ps: i went to the uk education fair yesterday. so, i guess it's middlesex or leeds. hmm... (ponders on)

it's not everyday that my young sister turns thirteen is it? today's the day. when the clock striked 12.50, that marked the end of the first term of school. three more terms to go and I'M FREE!!!
first up, i met clarissa, mandy and wenyi at orchard. we took neoprints. (check them out by clicking 'with a click of camera') unfortunately, clarissa couldn't join us (again!?!?!) so we left after some shopping (that stupid birthday girl took a whole lot of time to choose her presents!) for swensens.
dinner was great!!! earthquake was rocking, the ambience was fun! we had lots of fun with the camera, and took lots of photos. hopefully, today will be the day mandy becomes more sensible and mature. haha. not that she was not. but anyway, happy birthday mandy! and thanks the girls for so much of fun and laughter. i'm sure mandy enjoyed the party as much as i did.
below is a glimpse of what happened during the course of the day. for more, click on 'THIS' or 'with the click of the camera' at the left handside of this page (under the section 'a peak into my life').

top: (from left to right) clarissa, wenyi
bottom: (from left to right) michelle, mandy

back row: (from left to right) mandy, wenyi, michelle
middle row: (from left to right) kyna, mornique

a witty josephian wrote this relatively bias poem, but nonetheless, hilarious. anyway, that special he's got c6 for clao. he's not from ri or sji, so this doesn't apply to him. but, acs has got an even worse reputation. sigh.

The Truth (taken from glenn who took from his friend, marcus)

A decade years or more ago;
Where my ancestors lived and roamed.
There lived two men of great renown;
Whose names are still well known.

Bold Raffles from Western shores;
Seeked trade routes thru Eastern doors.
St. John Baptist of noble Rheims;
But gave it up to bless and preach.

Both had a wish, a hope, a dream;
They hatched a daring plan.
To educate all yound minds;
Thus their schools began.

Now each of these schools;
Formed their own believe for each.
Both valued different virtues;
In the ones they had to teach.

Raffles snobbed and only accepted;
Those with a ready mind.
Where those of wit and learning;
Will always find their kind.

St. Joseph's ignored results;
Anyone worthy of admission.
Be you rich, able or poor;
As long as you've ambition.

Raffles taught them to be power-hungry;
Trained them to be strong.
They taught their students cunning means;
To be the best among the throng.

St. Joseph's valued different virtues;
In the ones they sought and heed.
They taught them to be helpful and kind;
To those that are in need.

Rafflesians were smart, intelligent, witty boys;
Who couldn't hold back their lust.
They then produced a plan to quench their desires;
And RGS came at last.

You might think all boys are like that;
But Josephians are pure at heart.
Their abstainence, chast and innocence;
Set them miles apart.

a level result is a determining factor of where one's future lies. the clock slowly ticked the minutes away, heartbeats racing, adrenaline rushing, the seniors slowly dragged themselves into the hall to meet their doom! may it be hell, may it be heaven, nonetheless it's was time to face reality. nosey juniors jostled themselves through the crowd and tried to poke their noses into as much result slips as they can get. they witnessed the crying, disappointed faces, the expressionless stares into thin air and the gleefully jumping and cheering body languages. one of these is going to fall upon them come next year. they hold their ticket to their future.
on a brighter note, the biology department surprised me thoroughly by producing more than 50% of the population getting distinctions. how can that be possible? the biology department is just so irresponsible! another surprising thing was me getting a b4 for chinese. how can a person who skipped tonnes of chinese classes, never lay her hands on any chinese stuffs before the paper and never studied for a single chinese test get a b4? how unexpected and unbelievable. was it sheer luck? or was it pure talent? i don't know. but someday, i'll know what will fall upon me. will i jump for joy or cry out of dispiritedness? it's all up to me to decide.
