i watched the movie 'the notebook' for the second time in my life today. contrary to what happened to may ling (she cried from the beginning till the end), i only teared at the end. the male lead - noah - loved allie till his death. i am sceptical about such love, but i delude in fictional fantasies. sigh! :) nicholas sparks writes one of the best romance novels around, really.

what's even better is that ryan gosling and rachel mcadams had so much chemistry on screen, so much so that they became one of the sweetest and cutest reel-to-real couple! :) awww.

merdeka - the rock musical

i am starting to feel like there is nothing really meaningful in my life. it is, as always said, mundane. i know, i've always been choosing this kind of lifestyle all of my academic life thus far. i've always been the one who doesn't care about adding little spices here and there to school life. i've never seen that importance. but coming to london has some sort of changed that thinking. watching how may ling suffers from rehearsals withdrawal symptoms has got me thinking of something new. i feel like i want to do something different and interesting for once in my life. something constructive, something more impressive to beef up my cv. i don't want to look back and regret that i have once again lived life doing nothing but studying and commuting between hall and school. but where do i start? how do i start? this inertia. this sense of loss.

in any case, congratulations to may ling! she did well for the merdeka musical. my dear superstar! :)
