first and foremost, HAPPY BIRTHDAY CALYS DEAR! :) i hope she had a fantabulous birthday celebration. i'm so sad i can't be there with her. but i'm sure she had fun nonetheless. unless her horrid employers did not give her the day off! hmph. i wish her joy, love and wonder in this new chapter of her life as she leaves secondary school behind and pursues the life of a pre-university student!
my property law tutor, who adores kylie minogue, and a student in my class had this conversation yesterday during seminar.
tutor: what is in the contract?
student: stuffs.
tutor: stuffs? you guys are second year law students and you call these words "stuffs"?
hahahah. he is so charismatic. okay, this line doesn't show it. but he really is! and he is seriously hilarious. here's a line to prove it!
tutor: supposedly, kylie and i get a house together and we are joint tenants. when she dies, i will get the whole house. oh, i should be so lucky!
brad kane makes such a cute aladdin! hahah. aladdin has always been one of my favourite disney male leads. hahah. cause i think he's the cutest! sigh, i want to go back to disneyland now!
okay, enough of nonsense, i have another 20 pages more of how the welfare of a child should be considered by the courts during a marriage breakdown to read. yawn!

everytime i first arrive back in london, i always feel this sense of being trapped in a place i can't get out of. sigh, it feels so surreal to be back here, in a bad way. my mind isn't used to being here yet. i actually stared at the tube stations in disbelief and couldn't register where these places are. but once i got back into my room, i feel a sense of familiarity. but still, i wish i were in singapore now. boooo. oh well, time will fly. exams will end. and summer will once again come! "summer tastes like cinnamon, so sweet! little girls double-jump on the concrete."
i have yet to say anything about my US trip. my first trip to the land of the free. i travelled the famous west coast, with nice weather, thrilling theme parks, wonderful factory outlets and captivating grand canyon. i love the US and really enjoyed my time there. i wish to go the the US again. everytime i look at my pictures from there, i feel a great sense of nostalgia. i love los angeles, las vegas and san francisco! oh, and i miss ZONG JUN! my darlingggggg boy. hahahah.
