i was sucked into the world of sajc orientation once again while browsing the photos of saintastralis - the sajc orientation 2004, organised by our very own batch of 26th student council, the councillors we voted. as seen from the pictures, i hope that they did not fail us. actually, i could re-live the days of my orientation last year. the always-eager-to-attend-school attitude, the enthusiasm (og 14 are you ready?!!?), the energy we had to run from one station to another during the wet station games, the cheers (it's war cry session!!!) and encouragement we gave one another (go!!!) and of course, the friendship and bond formed during the short duration together as a group. a naive and lazy me tried means and ways to escape from the special party (casual clothes were allowed. skirts can't be above the knee, but not too long. what do you want then? haha!) and - the most regretful one - the finale. those pictures of the burning flame, the whole cohort of j1s crowding at the gallery, screaming their hearts out and enjoying every single moment left before a series of lecture time-table. if i could be a j1 now, there are two things i must do - uniform exchange and enjoying orientation to the fullest! that's what life during first three months is all about.
