a group of my friends and i were strolling pass the very wide main gate, and down the hill that leads to a block of condominium-like buildings. right in front of my eyes was a big clock and a grand looking foyer (few meters away). the big sign read 'anglo chinese (independent)'. jincheng felt a little awkward, so he needed a little nudge to get him into the school. we crept to the ground floor of the boarding school. after filling our mouths with some snacks, we walked half the running track to the swimming pool gallery. today, an intense competition was held. a competition with plenty of eye candies and hot bodies. the well-toned bodies of the players, the cheering from the spectators and the bright yellow ball were highlights of the spectacular event. it was a waterpolo match between the two strongest teams - acjc and hcjc. my eyes were well-fed with tonnes of good looking waterpolo boys to drool over. the final score was ac 10, hc 9. the match was filled with lots of excitement - penalties, balls flying far away from the pool, balls hitting the goal post, the players almost playing rough in order to get the ball. i truly enjoyed this wonderful match.
on the hc side, amongst this team of boys who were not as good looking compared to their opponents, i noticed my long-time crush. it's his birthday today. april fools? yes. maybe that explains why he looks so cheeky. i heard his voice, saw him smile, saw his disappointed expression (when hc lost) and his thankful hand shake exchanged with friends who wished him 'happy birthday'. not to mention that shocking bald head which truly made an impact on me - a good one though. my crush is a person who is witty, a person who yawns a lot, a person who finishes his test papers well before time, a person who loves regurgitating people's blog, a person who has an american dad and a chinese mum, a person who is so close to the guy of my dreams, a person i would miss looking at when i leave singapore. happy birthday kl.
