the day after tomorrow, where will you be? i'll be sitting in the victoria concert hall, listening to the sajc band. go sajc! i love my school. rather, i'm beginning to. 'the day after tomorrow' is a great movie to catch. it depicts the screen writer's prediction of what the world will be like if we continue to exploit our resources. in his view, the world temperature will dip real low, so low that people can virtually freeze to death. melancholic pearline was very amused by the number of casualties, while siti and i shiver at the thought of a frost world.
sajc lost to vjc in the 'not suitable for the faint-hearted' (as described by pearline) soccer finals at national stadium yesterday. although we lost, our boys fought a tough battle and lost with grace. despite 'we're so disappointed' being written on their faces, we left the stadium, nonetheless, with pride. a team not heard of last year actually played in the finals. what's more, we didn't leave with nothing. we scored a goal. well done sajc soccer boys!
what's going on in his head? what made him turn his head to look even while he's taking his napfa test (sit-ups to be precise)? what made him scout round the national stadium, in search of the presence of the 'desired' (or his 'fear') eventhough 'that someone' is rather far behind him? what made him gave that smile during chem lecture when he knew 'that someone' is searching for him? the answer is jincheng's favourite phrase: 'i don't know'.
