the sajc concert band held at the victoria concert hall today can be summed up in two words: 'saintifying' and 'heart-breaking'.
saintifying: the unification of saints in historical vch, listening to pieces played harmoniously by our very own sajc concert band and watching the lively and comical musical put together by the band was a memorable experience. i must commend them on their talent and desire for musical excellence. all the hardwork has finally paid off. they truly deserve more than just pats on their backs. they shall see no less than a gold for this year's syf. i never regret going for this satisfying performance of a lifetime.
heartbreaking: the end of the performance marked the beginning of a series of 'heartbreaking' scenarios. first, it was joey's dear 'strawberry' in the arms of bailu's 'room-mate'. then, it was dashing doctor with his 'far from beautiful' girlfriend (whose attempt to dress like sadaf was a total failure - pink skirt is an absolute no-no for her). all three of us bowed down our heads and sighed the night away.
before this experience of a lifetime, and after nerve-wrecking bio practical, i was glad to be released from the agony of studying for that little while spent at holland village's breko - highly recommended by rena. succulent baked potatoes, chipolata, scrambled eggs, sinful brownies and well-blended milkshakes are worthy of your tasting pleasures.
