town has been my dwelling place for the past two days. it was a great chill out and chatting session with joanna and karen on thursday as we roamed around plaza singapura. lots of ajc people around. that means, no cute guys. i thought orchard would have been a better hang out venue. but it's okay. i had fun nonetheless.
friday was yet another memorable day to be marked down in my diary. another visit from mery to singapore. my sec school clique had tonnes of fun. while we were contemplating over which movie to watch and, at the same time, enjoying the great crowd of jc people at lido, cynthia noted a group of hc boys. we discussed the probability of me meeting kl. then, speaking of the devil, he appeared. i went bonkers and was ecstatic. he was prancing around and that truly made my day. my heart beat was racing. adrenaline was gushing. even the presence of his girl couldn't dampen my spirits. i was much too overwhelmed by happiness to feel down. liang yi informed me that my jumps of excitement caught his attention. who cares? i wasn't - i quote pearline - my 'feminine, demure and steady self' to be rational. we even plotted to use pearline's 'can you lend me your mobile phone?' trick on him. but we couldn't catch another glimpse of him after his 'spiderman' movie. mery and nyuk khim were disappointed to have missed a chance of seeing him in person. petrina was glad to hear news from me that matthew was too at orchard yesterday. she tried looking out for him but to no avail. joanna was jealous that i got to see neil spencer. better luck next time girls! as i'm reminiscing, a grin is growing wider.
