let me commence by doing what both gracemary (: (i didn't forget the smiley this time!) and christabel did: my party was a blast! yay!
first of all, i want to thank nique-key for organsing this party. without her, i guess the party wouldn't have turned out the way it did. all the games were put together by her! a big 'muacks' to her!
secondly, kudos to mandy for being such a great art director. all the decorations were very much supervised and put up by her! she was the one who coordinated everything during the preparation period.
thirdly, i need to thank my parents for burning big holes in their pockets for this! i think i spent around seven hundred odd dollars. really horrible of me! and the ben and jerry's cake was delicious!
last but not least, thanks to everyone who came for the party and rocked it. without them, there won't be a party to begin with.
oh, and i need to mention this: i am not a bad driver. i am a fantastic one, without sarcasms intended. the incident in which christabel almost flew out of her seat was really a mishap. this kind of incident is totally rare. just ask mandy, who is one of my most frequent passenger! (:
the guests, most of them at least, turned up decked in
school uniforms! that was the party theme. it was so pretty to see a myriad of colours in the house. flouting the school rules was the main agenda. belts were kept way below waist level; big ear rings; colourful slippers (of course, christabel embarrassingly came in shoes!). i was in mgs uniform! and i really like the uniform, because it is so comfortable! mandy and cassandra looked so cute in chij uniform. gracemary (: was a pl-lite. jesiska came in polka-dotted st margaret's dress. christabel and calysta pranced around as cedarians. nique, brandon, eileen, samantha, joanna and karen were saints! my tweenie, mitch, looked so pretty in her tkgs uniform. wanshan wore eileen's ajc uniform. marvin and gordon are loyal marists! caleb stayed true to his canberra roots! yep, so picture perfect!
despite not being picked at all for 'just do it', christabel was sabotaged on stage so many times. she had to do the richard gere visa card advertisement with mandy, 'my humps' dance with gracemary (: and chicken dance with aunt caren.
the most shocking thing which happened during the party was christabel being crowned the 'school bella'. she is miss school bella? that's like so totahlee wrong! i should be the rightful winner! haha.
all the different speeches made by the different cliques were very touching. the bo-law club did a re-enactment of a scene in local movie 'i do, i do' (the part about the push-up bra)! all of them had to embarrass themselves in front of so many people. thumbs up! the cfc girls expressed their love for me! aww. the sajc and smu cliques brought back a lot of nostalgia. i love all these people!
if only i could turn back time. once again, thanks for making 6th may 2006 so special.
