copenhagen is a beautiful, truly european city, with medieval buildings aplenty. the danes are very much of the aryan race, and that means, shimmering blonde hair and clear blue eyes. behind these good looking faces, wrongly stereotyped by americans to be of low intelligence level, are good natured people who are willing to step forward to offer help, even without seeking, when they saw my friends and i struggling with a big map in our tiny hands. the cold, however, sought to rob me off my health yet again. nonetheless, it was a timely retreat from the bustling london.
worthy to be mentioned: i dined at a restaurant called 'peder oxe' on monday evening, only to realise that JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE patronised the SAME restaurant on sunday night. (: we've got good taste.
the phantom of the opera is THE best musical i've watched yet. it's amazing how the phantom and christine were able to be "on board" this "boat" which was smoothly gliding on the stage floor covered by smoke from dry ice (which was actually the river). it just seemed so real.
think of me, think of me fondly. promise me you'd try.leicester square with the goh girls was great fun today. despite the strong smell of mono-sodium glutamate wafting the streets, michelle, jasmine and i resisted the temptation of dining at a chinese restaurant. because that would mean spending at least five quid. however, i still contributed to the london economy by stocking up on tea from whittard. retail therapy works for all girls. that's not an understatement.
slightly more than a couple of hours ago, jasmine and i were at a rather dimly-lit ground floor of the york block, waiting for the lift to bring us to the fourth floor where vivian's room is. while we were waiting, all of a sudden, prince-william-look-alike and frank-lampard-ish cutie appeared from behind an inconspicuous door. we were apprehensive. to ease things a little, prince-william-look-alike said, "have a good evening, ladies" to us. the cutie apologised. i was hopping like a school girl inside, while trying my best to maintain a nonchalant front, and drumming as much courage as i could to mumble, "thank you". sigh, didn't i say i love my hall? :D
