talk about being kitchen hazards, no one can beat me at this. today, i put my bagel into the microwave oven, not realising that i had placed it inside a paper bag. or at least, it didn't occur to me that there was anything wrong with that. after 2 minutes, i smelt something burnt. so i ran to the pantry only to see smoke coming out of the oven. yes, the paper bag caught fire and my bagel disappeared!
there you go, a quirky first blog entry of the year for all to laugh at. moreover, it is at my expense. look at how nice a person i am. i suppose i fulfilled one of my new year resolutions of being a nicer person. yay me?

i have this astounding urge to watch a french open match at roland-garros live! the clay court tournament commences on 27th may. i seriously hope my finals end before that! praying very hard.
