the land of the vices failed to tempt!
it was an experience at amsterdam, visiting the heineken brewery, the hiding place of anne frank and the infamous red light district. a short getaway from the city into the quaint little towns of the netherlands proved to be interesting, as we saw windmills, clog factories and cheese factories. a timely retreat from commuting between bloomsbury and strand everyday.
worth to note, we had an quasi-amazing-race. each group of two had a map and we had to find our own way to anne frank's house. may ling and i unfortunately came in last, but we had a lousy map. so technically, it's not totally our fault. that was really fun anyway!
happy valentine's day! and of course, happy cheena new year! i want to be home, eating steamboat. ): oh well.

don't ask me what that means. i don't know it myself but i was the one who came up with it. reading public law fiddled with my nerves and i had to channel my angst somewhere. still, there is something underlying it. (: that's for me to know, and for me to tell you if i wish to.
