i woke up on monday morning feeling absolutely awkward. not being in the office sure felt a lot different. and the clock told me it was ten in the morning. my first reaction was "shit, i'm late!", only to realise i didn't have to report to work. i waited for time to pass till i met novella and candace. we were going to 'trespass' ocean towers and march into drew & napier.
and so we did. i felt so excited as i rushed to orchard mrt to meet novella and candace. we were hugging each other when we met. it was so exhilarating. also, we managed to see all our mentors. i saw werner, who kept insisting that he did not miss me. but i shall choose to believe that he is not speaking his mind. hahaha. self-delusional.
dinner at ricciotti (suave eugene's favourite place) was ever so enjoyable. conversation went well and we all laughed like mad. i really like hanging out with the spongebob family. they are just a bunch of really fun people. a pity mr 'are you gainfully employed', aka plankton, aka wei hong, was on MC and could not join us.
i am so going to miss this lovely group of people when i fly off to london. i really hope our friendship remains as strong and they'll all still be in drew when the three musketeers return to intern next year (that is if we get it again).
question: why do lawyers go to hell?
